The annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is a standards based criterion-referenced assessment used to measure a student’s attainment of the academic standards while also determining the degree to which school programs enable students to attain proficiency of the standards.
EUACS will administer the 2014-2015 Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA) in the coming month as outlined below. The information obtained from these assessments serves as a valuable tool for planning future school programs, developing curriculum and in-service training of teachers, and informing the public about student achievement. School Performance Profiles scores will be released to the District in late September/early October and available for review by parents/guardians at that time.
PSSA tests will be administered at Eastern University Academy Charter School (EUACS) on the dates listed below:
•April 13-16, 2015: PSSA English/Language Arts, Grades 7, 8
• April 20-April 22, 2015: PSSA Mathematics, Grades 7, 8
• April 27-April 28, 2015: PSSA Science Grade 8
